About the Chamber

The Chamberlain/Oacoma Chamber of Commerce/CVB is a non-profit organisation that promotes the interests of local and regional individuals, businesses, and organizations. We are committed to enhancing our communities presence in South Dakota and beyond by providing quality services and representation in the areas of government, health, agriculture, education, recreation and culture.

For our members both East River and West River, we serve by providing the tools, opportunities and the ideas our members need to succeed. From our “Shop Chamberlain-Oacoma First” campaign to referring visitors to local businesses as well as serving as our local civic information clearinghouse, we are committed to improving our local economy and community.

Working in partnership with the cities of Chamberlain and Oacoma, we do this by recruiting and maintaining our membership, promoting community business/resources and continually developing our location and tourism opportunities.  Being one of the marketing arms of our area, the Chamberlain/Oacoma Convention and Visitors Bureau is also a vital part of what we do. We prepare and execute an annual marketing plan to attract meetings, special events, leisure visitors and outdoors-men.
